MSM Elements Production
The production of the MSM alloy has many stages. In the first stage raw materials (Ni, Mn and Ga) are cleaned and then melted to produce high quality polycrystalline master alloy with required composition. In second stage the single crystal is grown from the master alloy in a special furnace. For this purpose the master alloy is placed inside of a crucible and a round single crystal bar is produced.
In the next stage the bar is subjected to the heat treatment to improve growth results. This is made in an additional heat treatment furnace.
After heat treatment round bar is cutted on rectangular MSM elements with necessary dimensions and the surface of MSM elements is grinded and polished. In last stage the MSM elements are subjected to the magneto-mechanical treatment and the magnetic and mechanical properties are measured to satisfy the specifications.
